The Live Final

Are you ready for a LIVE one?

The final begins with footage from yesterday and the housemates are thrilled to see that The Sugarbabes are hijacking today!

The girls enter the house and perform About You Now, the boys are gobsmacked (and drooling).

Bless Nathan and Anthony, both of them jump up for a bop. I thought Emilia was quite rude. As the girls began to perform she just carried on talking!

We're right back to Dermot and the housemates in sixth and fifth place are...

NATHAN and JEREMY!

Dermot enters the house! He's going to conduct the interviews with the housemates and then they will all face the public. It seems silly because the housemates wont be able to talk openly. They can't exactly moan about about someone who's sat right there!

Nathan thought that Chris Moyles and Malcolm McLaren were great hijackers. When Dermot asks, he admits that Latoya was lovely, but he's quick to deny any romance. "I would never do anything like that in here. If we weren't in here then we would have to see". He tells Dermot he will see most of the housemates again and he thinks the final six were a great mix. He doesn't mind going out sixth, "the placing means nothing man, it's great to get this far".

Jeremy thinks everyone in the house would be a deserved winner. Dermot advises that Jeremy was nominated 12 times and Jeremy laughs, but knows his character can be annoying. "You either love me or hate me". Next he has to endure a VT of his 'moments' with Emilia - Young love eh! Jezza cringes and he's blushing. Dermot asks if he and Emilia will be 'taking things further'. "I have no idea, we will have to see..." Mmmm, I think Emilia's boyriend may have something to say about that Jeremy!

In fourth place is ANTHONY!

WHAT?
I THOUGHT ANTHONY WOULD GET TO THE END!

Anthony's chuffed to get this far and looking forward to seeing his mum and family. I can't believe he's going out before Emilia - what is wrong with this picture? Dermot asks why he didn't get it on with Calista and Anthony says that she's a good friend. I think he's keeping his cards close to his chest until he knows what's going on, especially after Kate Lawler blagged that Calista had sold her story. The boxer isn't backward at coming forwards, he's the first to say that he wants John to win. "This is the nicest guy I've ever met!"

In third place is AMY!

How is this possible?

Amy is shocked that until Wednesday she hadn't received one nomination. Dermot asks if she was constantly distrusting of the hijackers and Amy nods. "Trust nobody, I was very weary of them all". She explains that she was more surprised that she liked everybody in the house. She thought she wouldn't bond well with others. Before she goes Dermot asks about Jeremy. "I didn't fancy him, but he reminds me some people I know back home". Mmmm... People you love or like Amy? Are you being straight with us hun?

Amy and Anthony leave to cheers, I have no clue how it's got down to Emilia and John!

Emilia is surprised that she has survived three evictions, "but I was ready for every week. I just want to say thank you to everyone". She said that she had a hard time adapting as she is used to having her own way. "Some people do not want to put things away right away and I had to get used to that and talk to people like Amy who are hygienic too". When asked about Jeremy, Emilia says she likes him as a person but she has a boyfriend. Talk about change your tune! Dermot is disappointed, but points out that she has flirted with everyone (and he's not wrong!) - As the flirting VT runs the crowd boo. Emilia says it was difficult living in the house with her brother but she loves him very much. It's obvious she got on well with ALL the boys, but her favourite girls are Amy and Calista.

John never thought he would get to the final and was overwhelmed on the first night with the earpiece task. "That was the best and worst part of this. I asked a boxer to rub my cramp away and I didn't even know him. I was more than happy to win the opportunity, but I felt like I didn't earn it. It was upsetting when people said I was a mole". He watches VT of the housemates discussing his position. "We weren't always respectful as a group and it was easy to understand. Sometimes you would have to shout over five or six voices to be heard". Dermot asks about any arguments in the house and John confirms that he and Anthony had 'just one' stonker, but he's made a real friend in Ant. He also takes the flack for bowing out of the Malcolm McLaren body painting task because of his job. "I am a full time volunteer at the moment and young people look up to me. I didn't want to ruin that". He had no plan for his time inside the house, "I was just happy to get here!" He laughs when he discovers that some of the housemates didn't trust him... because he was good at dancing!

With the interviews over, it's time to reveal the winner. How on earth did Emilia get there?

The winner of Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack
and £50,000 is... JOHN!

Emilia leaves first to boos and she screams "why are they booing me?" Maybe this worked out as it should after all eh?

John climbs the stairs and he looks dumbfounded. He's humble in his victory and the crowd just love him! The fireworks erupt and John looks to the sky in awe, he can't believe it. All of the housemates run to meet him (let him have his moment guys!) He hasn't even got down the stairs...

As the Hijack best bits run, I have to say that it has been fun. John's first task with Matt Lucas was fantastic and when he shouted to Kelly Osbourne, "I want your mum" I cracked up. Russell Brand and Jimmy Carr were mint and as far as housemates go, they all had their moments. SO much of it was classic BB, it was just a shame it was E4 only.

The show comes to an end as John waves to the crowd. With his head still his hands he thanks everyone he can. I hope you make some cash out of this John, you're a sweety! During BBBM John is asked why everyone voted for him and comical as always he replies, "because they fancied me!" John is going to give most of his winnings to his mum as they have never had any savings or disposable income. Just make sure you enjoy some of it though - all work and no play and all that!

Regardless of my CBB fandom, I've still enjoyed Celebrity Hijack and want to know how it's gonna turn out. After weeks of immunity, will politician John poll highest? Will boxer Anthony sock it to them or will Amy the artist give them all the brush off? Who wins? You decide!

Bring CBB Back - Updated 28.01.08

Do you remember the days when it was all or nothing on Big Brother?

I'm not a big fan of Malcolm McLaren by any means but he came up with some great tasks for the housemates. My only problem was that during the painting task they were given 'an option' to take part. I remember the days when you lost the reward if you refused to do the task!

As part of his cultural education task, Malcolm gave the housemates huge rolls of card and vats of paint to make body art. It actually reminded me of the first Big Brother when Craig and Nicola stripped down and made mud prints of their bodies on the walls. Malcolm was super-considerate and even gave them the option of shorts, underwear or bikinis if they felt uncomfortable naked. I was gobsmacked to see Amy and John bow out and head for the bedroom and John was using the politician card as an excuse. What about George Galloway and his cat routine? At least he had a go! I thought that when you signed up for Big Brother you hand yourself over to Big B. You do what you're told and there's no out. Bad form guys, very bad form!

After the painting task Malcolm let the housemates take part in a wine tasting. If you ask me, John and Amy should have been barred from that - But NO!

I think some people believe Big Brother is faltering because the control has been lost. The idea of the hijackers breaking the rules is fantastic, but the fact that the housemates are ALSO calling the shots defeats the object. They should have stuck to the original BB rules and just let the hijackers break out. The housemates have never ruled the roost.

I'm glad that E4 have said this is just an experiment, because I really miss Celebrity Big Brother. It lifts a boring January! Don't get me wrong this series has been 'different' and 'new' and I'm looking forward to the final, but I don't think it's compared with CBB. It lost it's sparkle quickly due to 'some' lacklustre hijackers. I mean really, Kate Lawler's the celebrity of choice at the moment - When did we see her last?

I think that Big Brother's appeal is old school. I loved it when it broke boundaries and was truly controversial and that's what's missing now. As a member of Joe Public I was hoping that the producers would put last years CBB problems behind them, take the bull by the horns and get on with it! After the celebrities left the house last year, the whole thing turned into a farce anyway. Shilpa Shetty was photographed embracing Dani Lloyd and it was Jade Goody who (although wrong in her actions) became the scapegoat in the whole thing - There was little mention of the other two involved after that. The press ate Jade alive and that seemed to appease them, meanwhile Jade was forced into hiding and within months Dani was back in the tabloids. I've seen her four times this week, is all forgiven?

Was what happened really fair? I don't think so!

So my message to the BB producers would be 'give us hell from now on!' I think they were far more worried about last years controversy than anyone else!

Big Brother is supposed be a delightful blend of fun, fornication and frolicks. That's why we like it! The hijack might be a good idea and it may be worth introducing it for a week or two during the regular Big Brother, but bring back our CBB!

LIVE Blog - The Eviction

LIVE Blog running now...

Before the eviction, we can catch up on the rest of Jimmy Carr's hijack... Jimmy kicks off the funday by having Marcus Bentley (the voice of Big Brother) wake them all up. As a jolly jape, he then gives them all huge clocks to wear (like Flava Flave) and as they perform any action they must announce what time it is and what they are doing. They have to do this in a Marcus Bentley stylee...

Anthony takes to it like a duck to water, "ten, fifty eight and Anthony is walking to the bedroom... ten fifty eight and F**k! Anthony knocks over his water... ten fifty..."

Jimmy interrupts, "Anthony I don't want to be a d**k about it but it's nine, fifty eight!"

Ant bursts out laughing!

Jeremy says, "ten, fifty two and Jeremy notices that Amy has a great rack!"

The housemates tolerate this constant commentary for an hour and for being the most enthusiastic Amy wins. She's rewarded with an engraved 1822 pocket watch and Jimmy also gives every housemate a new mug for their cups of tea (which was ruddy thoughtful AND generous if you ask me) - I mean some of them didn't even try and half of them never got out of bed. Give em nothing Jimmy, that's what I say.

As Amy leaves the diary room and shows off her prize, Jeremy is NOT impressed. "Jimmy's gonna be like Russell Brand isn't he, he's just gonna chat all the girls up." Jimmy presses his mic button and says, "f**k you man!" I love it, a Big Brother that fights back!

Boo-ometer

Dermot runs through the possible evictees and Amy, Jay and Nathan get cheers. Jeremy gets a mixed reception from the crowd and Calista and Emilia get nothing but boos. If it's up to the boo-ometer, Calista and Emilia are out tonight.

Rate-a-mate (see post below for details)

How funny was it to see them all rating each other! They were all squirming like crazy and trying to be polite. I had to laugh, Calista was not impressed to be rated the least intelligent. From her reaction, she obviously thought she would be rated higher than Amy in looks. Sadly, it just wasn't to be. Shame!

At the end of the game Jimmy lined them all up in order of height and they had to guess why they had been placed in that order. If they guessed correctly Jimmy said they would receive the best prize ever! Jimmy gave them five minutes to guess, but it was all a farce because he left a minute later. The housemates talked and talked about it for ages but Jimmy's chair was empty. Eighteen minutes later, they still had no clue that Jimmy had gone.

Over an hour later they were still speculating.. "I think it was who was most likely to win" Well done Jimmy, you succeeded in making the whole house paranoid and you're not even there. That's something that no one else has achieved!

The Eviction:

Leaving the house tonight are... Jay and Calista!
Jay is a real shocker, I wasn't expecting that!

They are both evicted together and I just don't think it works. You can't hear the crowd's reaction properly, Jay was getting nothing but cheers earlier and now he gets a mixed reception. Is Emilia being kept in because she bends and stretches in a small amount of clothing or is it because Jeremy likes her and Joe Public likes Jeremy? I don't know why she's still there. Get her and Jeremy out next I say, what do you think?

The Interview:

Jay has no idea why he didn't make the final and says it was hard to predict who would go. "It's all part of the process and I wasn't meant for the final". Dermot asks his nominations and he says that he just chose who he chose, but Emilia was being a bit of a bitch. "She has too much to say!"

Jay thinks that it's a popularity contest in the house and the public wants to see the 'baddies' in there - namely Emilia!

Dermot runs the VT of Jays funny quips. He laughs at all of his buzz words - vulnerable, major, fierce and megatron. I'm sure that they will start to pop up in the public domain soon and become annoying just as quickly.

He tells Dermot that Calista is his bitch and he loves her. With her gone, he wants John to win. "He's so down to earth and humble. He's all that life should be about - VOTE JOHN!"

As Jay watches his best bits I think I'll miss him in the house. Bye Jay, you were fierce!

Calista's up next and Dermot can't wait to ask her about Anthony. Calista advised all the housemates that she had a boyfriend, so what's going on? She watches the VT of her and Anthony's 'moments'...

"I'm so embarrassed; I said you would make me look like a bunny boiler!" Dermot asks why she changed her mind about marrying her boyfriend, "was it anything to do with Anthony?" Calista is quick to reply, "no, I just had time to think without him there". She has to add that Anthony is a sexy guy though...

Calista tells Dermot that the most difficult thing about being in the house is the worrying. "If I knew that everything was okay out here with my family and everything, I'd have been okay".

Dermot asks if she has written any songs in the house and Calista nods, "but they're all in my head". He advises that Calista's song 'Do You Play Your Bongos In The Morning' has swept the nation and she is obviously excited. Sadly I don't think it's the reception she was hoping for... the footage shows Harry Hill taking the mickey!

Tonight the evictees have no choice but to choose a nasty treat. The purple ninja runs in the house with a custard pie in hand and he pies Anthony, John and Jeremy. The girls squeal and hide behind the chairs!

Lines are now open... and everyone is up for the chop.

I've been quite tickled by Big Brother the past few days. Originally I thought the All Saints girls might be a bit of a drag, but they were fab! I thought it was classic when they gatecrashed the house for champagne with the housemates and then broke one of the fundamental rules of the show... Giving outside information!

Fair enough the housemates thought it could have been a bluff, but did you see their faces? Some of them were totally freaked out when Melanie said John, Amy and Anthony had the best chance of winning. I'm not surprised though, your head would be all over the place. Those who weren't mentioned would be thinking, 'why don't people like me' and John, Amy and Ant must have thought, 'YES!'

I loved Jimmy Carr too. He was SO entertaining and he'd really thought about how he could cause utter mayhem! When he spoke to Dermot O'Leary back stage he explained that he'd made all of the housemates rate each other on looks, brains and talent. "They did it privately... But I thought to myself how can I make them fight about it, so now we're gonna play a card game where all will be revealed and they'll find out how they scored. Just to add to the fun I've had them choose the animal that represents them and they have to dress up as that animal. John's an octopus, look at John's bum in those tights!"

I just wish the show had been like this the whole way through. The point of a celebrity hijack is to be a little naughty! These guys have shown some of the others how it's done. Classic Big Brother, I'm impressed - More please!

The LIVE Nominations

See the post below for the eviction guys, the housemates have to nominate LIVE right now!

So who's for the chop?

Big Brother announces they must give their nominations
FACE to FACE!

Anthony's first... He explains why he doesn't want to nominate certain people and then selects Jay and Jeremy.

Amy chooses Nathan and Calista as she believes no one else will nominate them. Mmmm?

Calista's next, she nominates Jeremy and Amy and Emilia nominates "the two most popular people", Nathan and Anthony.

Nathan pipes up... "We know we're all feeling each other".

"Some people feel each other more than others," John laughs.

Jay is quick on the draw, "Emilia and Jeremy, loves ya both sorry".

Jeremy keeps it short too..."Jay and Calista".
John looks concerned and really doesn't want to do it, "Jez and Nate Dog".

Finally Nathan says, "one person I've nominated has experience and the other will win, Emilia and Amy."

So everyone is up this week apart from John and Anthony.
Bring it on!

LIVE Blog - The Eviction

All hell's just broken loose!

With 56% of the vote Latoya has been evicted from the house, but the housemates are not impressed that Dermot took so long to reveal the result or that her interview will be in an hours time. The surprise eviction was a shocker! Anthony is shouting "how can you do that" and the others are all hugging her. John says that it's screwed up and unfair.

I think the others thought Emilia would be evicted after Victor went last week. They all look genuinely shocked. Jay has just burst into tears and is crying on Latoya's shoulder and they're all taking turns in comforting her.

If you want my opinion I'm glad she's going. I don't think it will make much difference to the house at all and I don't know why they're all making so much fuss. It's not like she's been a big part of the house or anything. Sure, the dancing was fun but the novelty soon wears off. It's like Emilia and her stretching and bending...snore!

Then again I wouldn't be heartbroken if Emilia went either!

The Interview:

As she leaves the house Latoya is teary, but when the doors open she waves and walks tall. I'm gutted when she starts dancing on the stairs, why oh why? We've seen enough girl - give it a rest! I hope she stops showboating soon or the crowd will turn on her.

Latoya tells Dermot that she thought she may have been leaving on Friday, but not today. She doesn't know why the public would vote her out, though she hopes that she has been portrayed well. Dermot shows her the nominations and she is shocked at the people who voted. Amy nominated her because she didn't clear up enough, Emilia and Jeremy chose her because of the argument with Victor and Calista voted for her too - probably because of Latoya's relationship with Anthony.

Dermot explains that a lot of her bad press was probably to do with the argument with Victor and Latoya was quick to explain what happened. "Me and Jay were bored so we thought we would put on a play. It was an improv' and we had a laugh throwing water. Then when Victor told me to 'F-off' I thought what's going on. He didn't get the joke at all". Dermot advises her how easy it is for things to be blown out of proportion in the house and she agrees. She admits that it went too far and laughs when Dermot says, "you pretended to have a huge row in the BB house and then you ACTUALLY had a huge row in the BB house!"

Latoya confirms that she doesn't fancy Nathan. "He's nice and he's good looking, but I don't fancy him". She has no idea why Calista feels 'bad vibes' from her as she likes her and says she will keep in touch with Nathan, Anthony, John and Jay.

Before she goes Dermot has one last task for her...
The purple ninja is back!

Latoya is asked to choose a nice or nasty surprise for the housemates. She chooses the 'nice' treat and the ninja enters the house and scatters chocolates across the house. The housemates are given a note and they try to stop the ninja from leaving so Big Brother shouts, "this is Big Brother. Step away from the purple ninja!" I love it!

The note is from Big B and it reads 'nominations will take place in one hour...'
I guess it wasn't much of a treat from the ninja eh? They're all gutted, but what they don't know is that nominations will take place FACE TO FACE!

No Clear Fave!

As Mackenzie Crook announced that Jeremy was the winner of the nerd task, he packed his bags and told everyone behind the scenes that his favourite housemates had changed during the hijack. "This morning I had a few favourites in mind, but they're different now. They are all a great bunch of people". I'm sure that's true Mackenzie, but I just can't take you seriously without the wooden eye! Arrrrr!

When Melanie Blatt and Nicole Appleton took over they discovered the same thing happened to them. "Who we like has changed as the days gone on..."

I have to admit that the same thing is happening to me every blummin' day! Last week I thought Anthony would romp it home because he was so nice to everyone, but since his hissy fits with John I'm not so sure. He's been giving it 'the big I am' and it's not really becoming - So now I'm lost without a fave and I hope one leaps out at me before the show's over!

On a personal note, I loved Mackenzie's hijack - it was hilarious. When Jay was wearing those glasses and fake teeth and spoke to the in-house camera, I was nearly wetting myself! For someone so funny and outgoing, I found Mackenzie to be surprisingly humble and emotionally connected. What a lovely guy!

Office Nerds

Today's hijacker Mackenzie Crook has declared Day 19 "Nerd Day" and tells the house he would like them all to become "nerds for the day", based on Mackenzie's character in The Office, Gareth Keenan.

Housemates are allocated a hobby to take up for the afternoon, with Calista and Anthony taking up model making; Emilia, Latoya and Jay taking up bird watching; Amy, John and Nathan performing a fantasy role play, and Jeremy making a rubber band ball.

The "nerds" must then gather to put on a show-and-tell, and convince Mackenzie they have made the transformation into nerds, in order to win a luxury food menu.

Will they go hungry?

Nominations Revealed!

The housemates are called to the Diary Room to nominate...

Amy nominates Calista and Latoya
Anthony nominates Emilia and Nathan
Calista nominates Latoya and Nathan
Emilia nominates Latoya and Anthony
Jay nominates Jeremy and Emilia
Jeremy nominates Latoya and Calista
John nominates Nathan and Jeremy
Latoya nominates Emilia and Jeremy
Nathan nominates Calista and Emilia

This means both Emilia and Latoya (who have received four nominations each) will face the public vote and face eviction from the house on Wednesday night. Nathan, Calista and Jeremy received three nominations and Anthony just one. Both Amy and Jay escaped nomination completely.

A Question Of Celebrity?

Mmmm... So I think it's time to raise the subject of celebrity and what that actually means. I am old enough to remember when celebrities were celebrities because they actually DID something to classify them as such. They would be a huge film star or TV sensation and most importantly, they'd have talent! You would never have been a celebrity back then if you were just someone's daughter or if you'd presented a TV show for five minutes...

Now I'm not directing this at the girls who hijacked today. I can understand the concept that starring in a soap would result in celebrity status, but there have been some questionable hijackers and tomorrow it's Matthew Horne and James Corden who present Big Mouth. I really think that E4 needs to clarify what they believe a celebrity is.

What do you think?

Anyway, back to the show... The Hollyoaks sisters crashed the party today, Claire Cooper (Jacqui), Gemma Merna (Carmel) and Jennifer Metcalfe (Mercedes).

I enjoyed the girls hijack and was glad they introduced a little fun. They split the housemates into teams of Romeos and two helpers and the helpers had to instruct the boys on 'how to be the perfect date'. The winning Romeo would win a date with the Hollyoaks girls. As part of the task they were schooled on the art of conversation, how to dance and then they were given a makeover. The teaching sessions were hilarious, but I have to say it was a little predictable that Anthony won!

I can't say I blame the ladies though!

The winning team won champagne and cake and the ladies melted in Anthony's company for a little while. With Denise Van Outen and the Hollyoaks girls lining up, Calista's got her work cut out for her if she wants to woo our Tony hasn't she? He's Grrrrrrrreat!

Ha, ha, ha, ha... Sorry, just couldn't resist!

Video Killed The Radio Star - Pah!

I have to say, I really enjoyed the hijack today! Scott Mills was a little dry, but had obviously given the whole thing some thought. He was rather good! Reminiscent of Russell Brand's Jeremy bashing, yesterday Scott turned the tables on Jay and he'd even prepared the perfect reward for afterwards!

Scott advised the housemates that they must take part in a life drawing class to win their reward, but the true task was to annoy Jay as much as possible without raising suspicion. If they could annoy Jay, they'd snaffle the reward and the most annoying housemate wouls receive a special treat.

How funny was Anthony in those noos! He posed in nothing but Latoya's French knickers for the art class.

Being a designer, Jay obviously had artistic flair and he couldn't understand why all the housemates voted John's as the best painting and his as the worst! "His looks like spiderman! Everyone is annoying me today". So far so good...

Next, Scott gives every housemate an instrument to play with. One by one they bang, pluck and twang their way toward Jay and Jeremy (who has a megaphone) starts shouting "fashion is rubbish!" Poor Jay just can't take anymore...

Fortunately, Jay and Jeremy are called to the Diary Room and the task is revealed. Jay screamed, "I knew it!" They're both chuffed when Scott hands over Jay's favourite meal (a chinese) as their reward. "I had to award Jeremy the prize for most annoying". I don't blame you Scott!!

At this point the eviction takes place and the housemates cook along with Gordon Ramsay. Can you believe that when Victor was evicted, he said he thought Anthony should win. Whatever happened to family loyalty Victor? Your sister is still in there you know!

Should I really be surprised?

Who goes? You decide!
It's looking good for Emelia tonight, it's the boys who are getting the boos.

Denise Van Outen is our hijacker today, I love our Den!
She introduces a musical flavour to the house and sets the housemates numerous mini-tasks that they must complete.

John and Anthony must spend the entire task dancing. Whenever they are on the move around the house, they must do it via the form of dance. The housemates are permitted to dance in any style that they wish but they must dance whenever they move around the house.

Jay and Calista must spend the entire task singing. Whenever they wish to talk to each other or the Celebrity Hijacker, they must do it via song. They're permitted to sing in any musical style they want.

Latoya, Amy and Nathan are the last group to hear their task. They'll be part of Denise's chorus line! Whenever Denise plays All That Jazz they must run to the target near the Dining Area and sing a verse about life in the house. This must reflect what's going on in the house at that time. Oh yeah, they've got to give it can-can kicks and jass hands too! Mwah, ha, ha, ha!

The four nominated housemates (Victor, Emilia, Liam and Jeremy) are all called to the Diary Room for a chat. As each of these housemates face the public vote on Friday, Denise insists that they sing a plea to the viewers at home. Each plea must last up to 30 seconds and must highlight what they bring to the house as a whole and why they want to stay. To be honest they're all pretty lame, Denise thought Liam sounded like Kermit the Frog and I'm afraid he still freaks me out. What is it with that guy? The others sing "don't let me go" or "don't throw me away" and don't really follow the rules and state their case to stay... Then again (at this point) does it really matter?

John and Calista are chuffed to bits, Denise awards them with the pampering hamper for being the most entertaining housemates - Woohoo! I could do with a good pampering myself! I have to say I'm shocked, I was expecting the hamper to go to Anthony after the way Den took to him. They were a right little flirty pair weren't they?

Speaking of Anthony, what's going on with him and Calista? He took a shine to Jade in the first week and now him and Calista are looking like a couple. I'd say they were acting like a couple, but they're both already saying they should 'cool it' and they haven't even done anything! Has Big Brother turned into High School Musical or is it just me? Does anyone remember the good old days?

Leaving the house tonight are... Liam and Victor!

It's about time that Victor went, but I'd have evicted Jeremy before Liam every day of the week. How has has he got away with it again? It was SO unfair to evict them at the same time, Liam got the brunt of Victor's boos and he looked terrified!

Eviction Day

Double Eviction!

SPOILERS! SPOILERS!

Joan Rivers may have controlled Nomination Day in the Big Brother House, but it's still up to you who goes!

Joan selected Emilia, Jeremy and Liam to join Victor to face eviction on Friday, after hearing from all the housemates why they should be the ones Joan should save.

What Joan doesn't know is that it's a DOUBLE eviction on Friday, meaning two housemates will leave. Mwah, ha, ha, ha, ha! Frankly I think this is getting better and better as the weeks go on, they really should have put it on Channel 4 too though.

Enough about my opinion, what's yours?

PS - You may have noticed that there is no reference on this blog to the day when Brian Sewell hijacked the house. I don't think I need to explain why do I?

Here's what one visitor thought:

Brian Sewell was rubbish, no one under 50 knows who he is. So irrelevant on a show aimed at younger people. I think he annoyed the viewers as much as the house mates. Rosheen.

Nominations - Spoilers!

I'll be filling you in with all the goss from the house tonight, but I just couldn't keep the nominations under my hat. Here's who's up for eviction on Friday... thanks to Joan Rivers!

JOAN SELECTS EMILIA, JEREMY AND LIAM TO JOIN VICTOR

Here's what she had to say...

"I gotta tell you who I picked," announced Joan as the housemates relaxed on the sofas. "It's not easy - it took me a good seven minutes! It is a public vote, its not me. I'm just a simple icon."

"First one is Jeremy." He looked calm, but was obviously surprised. "I would like you to remember me as the person who gave you one last knock before your career took off," she explained. "Stupid reason," she added, "but f*** it!"

"Next one - this is killing me," she laughed, "is Liam. Liam, you screwed up. You took your career into your own hands."

"The final one," Joan revealed, "is Emilia. I think you're fabulous, I think you're adorable. You're too nice and you're too good - I want you to get out in the real world and marry a rich man."

"If you're smart," she added, "get a man with a heart condition, walk behind him, go BOO! and you'll be set for life."

All that remained was for Joan to wish her charges a fond farewell...

"I wish you all well," she said, "And if we ever see each other on the street, just cross over."

So, Emilia, Jeremy and Liam will be joining Victor in the eviction line-up. Phone lines will open during Wednesday’s Big Brother’s Little Brother, 7.30pm, E4.

Okay, a lot happened today so I better get on with it.
Here's the cliff notes on Chris's Hijack...

Chris announced that he would be hijacking the house and reminiscent of Russell Brand's day, Jeremy poo-pooed the whole idea. Chris claimed that it was snowing outside (which Jeremy disproved straight away), so Chris forced him to make an imaginary snow angel in just his boxers. Chris obviously had similar opinions to Russell, "you've gone up in my estimations Jeremy. Now you're a one out of ten". Why does Jeremy spoil the fun? Boo!

Next, Chris calls Amy to the diary room and tells her "Big Brother told me you love me!" Amy turns a lovely shade of crimson and Chris smiles... He seems to have it all worked out and promises Amy "I'll only be mean to the housemates I doesn't like". Ouch! He also tricks Amy into thinking that there will be a surprise eviction within hours.

This is just too funny! Victor is in the toilet and Chris Moyles plays one his radio jingles that says 'a housemate is in the toilet pooing'. Chris announces to the house: “This is Bigger Brother would Brian come to the Diary Room.” The bemused housemates watch as a towelled Brian Belo (BB8’s winner) dashes through from the ‘bathroom’ in just a towel shouting: “Oh Big Brother, I hate it when you call me to the Diary Room when I’m in the shower.” How much fun is Chris's Hijack? Go on lad! Brian kisses the Diary Room chair and asks Chris if he can stay. Chris Moyles replies: “No - You have been evicted.”

Next, Chris has a little bit of trickery planned. He's joined in the hijack room by his friend John Culshaw for a pub quiz, but the housemates think it’s Sir Terry Wogan, Mark Owen and Ozzy Osbourne (all voices provided by John). Chris calls the ‘dumbest’ housemate to the Diary Room and Emilia steps up to the plate. Chris makes her the pub barmaid, “Oh, okay I’m good at that, dress me up.”

The pub quiz has started and John and Nathan are the housemate team captains. One of them has to beat Chris Moyles ‘celeb team’. Nathan claims that Barmaid Emilia is cheating and Chris, as the pub landlord, tells him off. It’s a tie break in the pub quiz with Chris Moyles team and John’s both scoring 11 points. Chris Moyles team answers the tie break question correctly meaning housemates have basic rations tomorrow. Anthony asks Chris for pizza but Chris will only get them when Anthony can supply tickets to one of his fights in Vegas.

I love it whenever they have a secret room! As the top team leader, John is instructed to go to a hidden snug bar (accessed via the toilet and located in the loft of the house). He meets with Chris Moyles for a drink (so this is the point of all this pub quiz nonsense!)

The housemates watch on the screen in the living area as Chris gives John a present - a mobile phone with three minutes of talk time to call anyone he wishes. This also presents John with a dilemma as Chris allows him to take it back to the house to share with any of his housemates. Diplomatic as ever, John uses 1.30 mins to call his mum who screams how much she loves him and is proud of him. He refuses to use all the time up himself, "if any of the housemates deserves to call home it's Anthony".

John returns to the house and reveals that Chris said if Amy would've been in the pub, he’d ‘impregnate you’. John also reveals the phone and gives it to an emotional Anthony. Anthony calls his Mum and is no doubt John's new best friend.

Chris leaves the hijack booth and continues the 'give and take' theme of the day by giving the housemates pizza and taking away all of their soft toilet paper - Naughty Chris, should be spanked! Thanks for a great hijack!

Before I start, I have to say that (in line with health and safety procedures) all of the housemates openly volunteered to be part of Operation Zero, after being made aware that it could be a potentially stressful experience.

The housemates that agree to take part in this event are all asked to memorise a special codeword. They are told that they must not tell ANYONE this codeword.

Hijacker Andy McNab and Big Brother then selected TWO HOUSEMATES (who agreed) to be the housemates who are lifted and interrogated from the house. Amy and Anthony are chosen...

The rules: The first housemate to reveal their code will have to choose one housemate to automatically face the public vote the following Friday. The housemate who does not reveal the code first, will win a prize of £5,000 and be immune from that week's nominations, they will also be able to choose a buddy who receives immunity too.

As Operation Zero begins... Two of Andy’s associates storm the bedroom and shout at the housemates to get out of bed and stand with their hands on their heads. When asked his name John lies and tells the men that his name is ’David’. Andy McNabb asks him why he’s lying – he squeaks "no comment". I don't blame him for being scared. I would be petrified!

Anthony and Amy are picked out as the two housemates to be interrogated. They are given blindfolds and headphones and are marched out of the house by the interrogators. It must be so frightening, the pair are put in the back of van and driven around for 40 minutes to disorientate them, a common interrogation technique (or so I'm told!)

While all this kerfuffle is going on, Andy introduces himself to the house as today's hijacker and John rushes into the diary room for a chat. Andy asks John why he lied about his name he says, “I didn’t want to disclose any personal information”. Andy also asks him which housemate he thinks will endure the test. There's no doubt in John's mind, “Amy will last longer… she’s the dark horse”.

Amy and Anthony are taken to two separate rooms back at the house, both made to look like an interrogation room. Both rooms are freezing cold and smell of bleach to make Amy and Anthony more confused in their surroundings. They are still blind folded and are wearing headphones playing ‘white noise’.

As the interrogation begins, Andy’s associates tell Anthony that if he gives them his code then the rest of the housemates will be rewarded with some luxury items. They ask Amy which other housemates would be good at this task. She tells them Anthony. The men go on to tell her that Anthony isn’t doing too well in his interrogation. Amy's not phased and remains steadfast, she says, “I have no inclination to give you anything - No chance”. The interrogators tell her that she’s selfish.

Andy’s associates tell Anthony that Amy has given them two numbers so he might as well too. He refuses, “my mum told me never to trust anyone wearing a mask”. He eventually caves in and gives them the last two digits of his code. The interrogators try one final time to reveal the codes. Amy stays strong... “I’m not succumbing to your peer pressure. I’m not telling you the numbers”. But Anthony hands over all of his code when told that Amy has given up too - Big Mistake!

Andy McNab gathers the housemates on the sofas and they see Amy and Anthony in the Diary Room on the plasma screen. He reveals that Amy has won the task and she uses her code to open a safe. She wins £5000 and is elated! She deserved it though, she never gave up. As Amy won the task she is immune from the next eviction and as Anthony endured it with her, she chooses him to share immunity too. Sadly, after he failed the task, Anthony must now choose a housemate to automatically be put up for eviction. He eventually picks Victor, as he has survived the public vote before so he must have a strong fanbase. Victor says, “It’s alright”.

They are released from the Diary Room to cheers from the housemates. Anthony is really upset and gives Victor a hug. I feel for him to be honest, he's had a tough day... Wasn't Amy a little Trojan! Go on girl!

Naughty Andy says his goodbyes and doesn't even give the housemates a luxury budget for their trouble! Basic rations again guys - bummer!

Chris Moyles tomorrow though...
Should be fun - Woohoo!

What did you think of the SAS task? I thought it was genius to have individual awards and a penalty for one housemate resulting in nomination. Andy obviously thought about what he was going to do and I think that's what the upcoming hijackers should do. More effort needed guys!
